Chili is part of the Bean Baby crew that came to us from a kill shelter. At first, he kept himself small and watched the world from a safe distance. You can still see that thoughtful side in his eyes—he’s the kind of guy who likes to take everything in before jumping in.
These days, Chili can often be found perched by a window, soaking up the sunshine and keeping an eye on his surroundings, like a tiny guardian of the room. Once he feels safe, his playful side comes out in bursts—sudden pounces, sneaky toy attacks, and little moments of mischief that show just how far he’s come.
He’s gentle, soulful, and clearly grateful for a warm place to land. Chili doesn’t rush trust—but when he gives it, it’s sincere and sweet. He’s the kind of cat who will quietly choose you, curl up nearby, and let you know he finally feels safe.
